Big Spoon is a studio for the creation of great works.

Our design and fabrication workshop was initially established in 2008 to support the Artist and Director Stuart Green in all stages of the production of his public artworks. This work included architectural facade treatments, monumental stand-alone artworks and smaller scale intimate interpretive pieces both within Australia and abroad.

Leveraging Stuart’s and Big Spoon’s 35 years public art and production experience , the studio has since expanded to assist artists and designers in all aspects of public art delivery. Big Spoon employs professionals from the architecture, product design and fabrication industries. Big Spoon is able to provide this niche service for projects both within and beyond Australia, from artwork conceptualisation and document production, through to fabrication, project management and installation.
